The Request
Small teams who live and work in Telegram were constantly losing tasks in chat threads. They didn't want another app. Another login, another dashboard, another thing to check. They wanted task management that lived inside the conversation they were already having. Nothing on the market did this without setup friction or a learning curve.
How we did it
Define what it actually needs to do
We mapped every action a team needs to manage work: create a task, assign it, set a deadline, check what's due, get a reminder. Everything else was cut. The bot had to work in a single message. If you needed to explain how to use it, it had already failed.
Build the right foundation
We built a lightweight backend to track task state, user assignments, and group chat contexts. Telegram handles the conversation. Our layer handles the logic: who owes what, when it's due, and when to send a nudge.
Test with real teams, not assumptions
Before any public release, we ran a closed beta with three small teams using the bot for their actual daily work. The friction points showed up within a week. We refined the command structure and reminder timing based on how people really used it, not how we expected them to.
Launch without a marketing budget
Zero paid advertising. A post in a few Telegram communities. The bot spread because it solved a real problem cleanly. Within the first week, early users were onboarding their own teams without anyone asking them to.
