The request

Another one of ours, and a bit of an experiment. What if anyone could post on an X account just by paying for it? No sign-up, no followers needed. Type, pay, published. It sounds simple, but it mixes payments, a public social account and content moderation, so every part had to be solid.

How we did it

1

The content sets the price

Nobody picks a price. The site works it out from what you write: text is €1, each link or mention is €10, a picture starts at €100 and a video at €500. You see the price on the button before you pay.

2

Seconds from payment to post

Text and link posts publish on their own a few seconds after Stripe confirms the payment. Stripe sometimes sends the same confirmation twice, so a post can only move forward one step at a time. That way nothing ever gets published twice.

3

A person checks every picture

Picture and video posts aren't charged straight away. The card is only held, the owner gets a Telegram ping, and approves or rejects the post in the admin panel. A rejection cancels the hold, so the buyer pays nothing. Simple filters catch banned words, blocked sites and personal details.

4

Switches instead of redeploys

The admin panel has live switches: pause all posting, turn off pictures, videos, links or mentions, or start charging tax. The front page shows every paid post on a public wall, with live totals from the same database.
